Failure to appear on a misdemeanor charge of driving on a suspended license?
rafayelm asked:
I had a court date at the Los Angeles court house on Hill Street, I was able to get an extension on the original date using their online services but when that second court date came up I was still out of state on business and unable to make it to the court that day. 2 weeks later when I got back to California I went to court to see the judge the woman at the window said they don’t accept walk-ins and I can’t see the judge. I was told there is a bench warrant on me for the failure to appear but she recalled it and gave me a new date which is coming up. My question is since she gave me a new date and recalled the warrant will the judge arrest me for missing the extension date and not having a good enough legal reason for not showing up to court.
